What is my coverage under standard installation?

Covered under standard installation:

1. As per the published CCTV installation tariff the open wiring, installation of cameras, recorder, hard disc, commissioning and configuration of the CCTV system will be done by the technician.

2. Any material required to do the wiring will be borne by the customer.

3. In case of conduit wiring, the customer needs to purchase the pipes/casing capping required for the wiring.

4. In order to do conduit the technician may use drilling on the wall to facilitate routing of the pipes from the cameras to the recorder.

5. Upon completion of the installation of the CCTV system the technician will commission and configure the system as per the customers requirement.

6. The technician will demonstrate how to go about using the CCTV system and its basic operational functions. Especially backing up the recorded footage.

7. Installing anything else apart from items mentioned above or any additional labour charges for completion of the installation is to be paid to the technician.

 

Not covered under standard installation:

1. Any additional material required for completion of the installation.

2. Any additional work performed by the technician which is not within the scope of standard installation will be charged separately and to be paid to the technician directly.

3. Electrical wiring extension from any point to the place where the recorder is going to be placed.

4. Any extra cable that is required to complete the installation. If the technician provides additional cable the cost of the cable and additional labour needs to be paid to the technician separately.

5. Dismantling/shifting of old CCTV system.

 

Pre installation site readiness:

1. Provision of 5 Amps plug/plug point or MCB with suitable wiring within 1 meter of the place earmarked for the recorder to be fixed.

2. A ladder or ‘A’ frame ladder for work at site needs to be provided.

3. Any scaffolding or other requirement for working at heights for installation of cameras outdoor.

4. In some cases if the cable needs to be laid underground the trenching work needs to be done in consultation with the technician.

5. The system will not be installed in case there is no provision for installation at heights (accessibility/safety/future service).

6. Any special mounts or structures like a pole (if required) to mount cameras needs to be provided.

7. In case of power fluctuations, use of a voltage stabilizer is recommended as this may affect the whole system.

 

AGScctv only assigns a third party technician to fix the CCTV system based on the published tariff at the customer site. Whether or not to engage the technician is the sole discretion of the customer. AGScctv will not take any responsibility for any untoward incident at the customer site.
